The Neotia University (TNU) has been established in February 2015 vide the West Bengal State Government Act XXIII of 2014. The University is recognized by UGC and empowered to award degree U/S 22 of UGC Act 1956. The Law Courses are approved by Bar Council of India, , B Pharmacy course is approved by Pharmacy Council of India, Marine Engineering & Nautical Science courses are approved by DG Shipping, GOI. University is introducing Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) and B.Sc in Media Sciences From Academic session 2020-21.
The University is spread over 50 acres of lush green, beautifully landscaped Campus in the outskirts of Kolkata.
